C. Anderson & Sons LLP is a long established family business with more than forty years in the plumbing and heating trade.
The company is Gas safe registered (the previous gas governing body was Corgi of which we were one of the first to join)
Three other members of the family work full time at the company, Crawford Anderson junior joined the company in 1999 and now takes an active role in the day to day running of the company alongside partner Martin Lynch. William Anderson has been working in the company for several years now and helps the company deliver it's high level of customer service and care.
Customer service is always our first consideration and we only undertake work we can manage with total confidence in our expertise. Our reputation for quality work is very important to us. Unlike many of our competitors, our employees work directly for our company and have been doing so for a number of years.
We also operate a very intensive apprentice program for young people and this provides us with our own "in house" qualified engineers.

Most houses and flats today have radiators which are normally heated by a gas fired boiler or in some cases an electric boiler or you may just have simply electric heaters. Our engineers are very effective in fixing any heating problems you may have. Will18/11/2024Had a terrible bad blockage that was an external drain blocked for a number of flats and Anderson's came out of hours and cleared the blockage.
The out of hours call operator Will (my namesake!) was amazingly helpful and kept me in the loop when the engineers will arrive and the guys that turned up on site were amazing and very thorough in their approach and were careful and tidy as well as cleared the problem! Great team and fantastic family business!

They were late in arriving and they could not identify the source of the leak. The plumber tried to blame the leak on a defective expansion tank in the loft and a leaking shower. The guy they sent was arrogant and he would not come outside and view the damp external wall. If he had he would have realised that the source of the leak was above the shower tray. In the end he walked off site leaving us with the leak and quotes amounting to fixing the shower and the expansion tank. We were without water for almost a month as our insurance company believed the bogus report they supplied. On no account if you value your money and property employ this company.

C Anderson & Sons were really helpful over the phone and arranged for a plumber to come that day. They offed a OAP discount which was lovely.
After paying a deposit over the phone they were with my nan within 2 hours and the work was carried out to a high standard by a very nice and professional man named Michael.

Left black greasy marks over carpet. Didn't fix toilet properly. Hard to get in touch with. They said they would come on May 2nd , 3rd , 5th and 8th , but didn't! Two of my friends/family took time out to come and wait for them and they didn't turn up. Cracked the tank of water. I had to buy a new loo! Cost me £500 for one man.
They cleaned the carpet but have not fixed the tank and have had to personally pay for a new toilet myself.
C Andersons have followed up with action and a response:
I have spoken with Mrs Lusk and confirmed she is satisfied with the repair in regards to her toilet and the making good involved after. We initially attended as the customer reported a very weak flush when using her toilet. As a result we had to fit a new ball valve and siphon. A few days later the customer noticed a slight drip and leak from the toilet and when we attended it was clear the cistern was cracked. This was unrelated to the previous work we did. We supplied and fitted a new cistern at a reduced rate as a gesture of goodwill. We also cleaned the customer carpet from the water marks as a further gesture of goodwill.
I have spoken to Mrs Lusk on the 23rd May and she is happy with the job completed and the resolution of her carpet.
