After a major operation, my brother had to spend three months in hospital and it quickly became clear that he needed a great deal of help to make his flat safe and appropriate for him to return home. He was put in touch with Suzanne Trisk at Your Home Move by Social Services.

None of the family lives in London and it would have been impossible for us to do what Suzanne did. Suzanne project managed all the necessary work which included arranging clearing, cleaning, electrical and plumbing work, decorating, fitting new carpets and choosing curtains. She also made sure that the kitchen was adequately supplied and went out and chose new bedding.

Throughout this time, Suzanne was professional and efficient. She has access to teams of cleaners and other tradespeople. She obtained quotes for my brother and was clear and very reasonable about the charges she made for her time. She kept in touch with the family throughout so that we could support my brother to make decisions about the flat during a very difficult period for him.

I cannot stress enough how sensitive and thoughtful Suzanne was in dealing with what had become a very difficult living situation for my brother. She has utterly transformed the flat and made it possible for my brother to move home and have a fresh start in a flat he can be proud of.

We are all deeply grateful to Suzanne and her team. I cannot recommend her skills and services highly enough.

Suzanne's attention to detail was excellent and allowed us to benefit from a relatively stress-free move and after a lifetime in our previous home it could have been daunting but with her help it certainly was not. Nothing was too much trouble; she provided checklists, made phone calls, sent emails, disposed of unwanted items to charity shops and to the tip, helped unpack, and made tea! She is very efficient and thoughtful and we would be delighted to recommend her.

An elderly friend of mine, with no family and few friends, had allowed
his house to become so cluttered with things that he had amassed over
his lifetime, that it had become hazardous. He had been admitted to
hospital and Social Services were concerned about him returning home.
Social Services put him in touch with Suzanne of Your Home Move. As my
friend was unwell and not very good at dealing with this type of
situation, I was asked by him to deal with Suzanne on his behalf.

The quote that he was given by Suzanne was very thorough and showed a
great understating of the delicacy of the situation and was at a
reasonable price.

Suzanne was very friendly and professional and worked with my friend
to find a time that best suited him for the work to be done.

Prior to the declutering my friend was nervous, but from what he has
told me (as I could not be there) the job was done very professionally
and my friend said he "quite enjoyed the experience and was very happy
with the results". As part of the work a lot of items were put into
various drawers etc. under the supervision of my friend.

After the job had been completed Suzanne provided not only a list of
the work that had been done but also a very detailed list of items
that had been tidied away and exactly where they had been put. Which
we had not expected and will make things a lot easier when he returns home.

Various repairs need to be done by a builder and once these are finished Suzanne has arranged for a deep clean to be carried out.

As a summary I have been very impressed with all of the dealings I
have had with Suzanne which have been carried out in a friendly and
professional way and she has made what could have been a difficult job
very easy. My friend is very happy with the work that has been carried
out and is now looking forward to going back home once the repairs and
deep clean have been carried out.
