SweetTree Home Care Services provides a full range of domiciliary care and support to assist those with both basic and more complex needs including; Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, Neurological Conditions and support for those at their End-of-Life.
Each service is led by highly experienced managers and each care team member is also specifically recruited according to previous care experiences. To ensure the diverse, changing care needs of our clients are met and understood, care team members receive regular supervision and continuous training.

1. Homecare Services
SweetTree’s elderly care service offers the highest quality personal care and support at home. Our aim is to facilitate our clients remaining in their own homes with dignity, independence and control over their lives. Regardless of the level of support needed, a member of the SweetTree team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
For some the reassurance and companionship gained from having one of our carers visit for a few hours a day to assist around the house will be enough. Others however will require more intensive 24 hour care which can be provided on either a live-in or live-out basis. Regardless of the level of need the team at SweetTree will always work with you to design a service package that will facilitate you or your loved one to live life, at home, to the full.

2. Specialist Dementia Care
At SweetTree we understand the challenges often inherent in supporting someone with dementia and reflecting this, we are committed to providing holistic, high quality, person-centred care and support to both clients and their families. Assisting someone with dementia requires both a practical understanding of the illness itself and an insight into the psychological and emotional journey that often takes hold as it progresses.
We offer a different approach to care at home, focusing on creative and innovative ways for both our clients and client’s families to live well with dementia. Our highly committed team have a passion for making a difference to peoples’ lives, whether it is assistance around the home or personal care that is needed. SweetTree’s robust induction training and specialist Advanced Dementia Programme means our team are not only highly skilled, they are continually mentored and supported.
Reflecting the above, dementia training is an integral part of SweetTree’s induction programme which all new team members participate in. Additionally, recognising that dementia effects all individuals differently, SweetTree provides carers supporting clients with greater levels of need, such as those with challenging behaviour, depression, anxiety and increased confusion, with more advanced training and specialist one to one input as and when this is required. 3. Specialist Palliative Care
At SweetTree we know that given a choice many individuals would prefer to die at home, however for both them and their families the fear, emotional hurdles and practicalities of caring for someone at this stage of life can be challenging. Reflecting this, we have a dedicated palliative care service to support clients and their loved ones at home. The palliative care team at SweetTree recognises that due to medical advances, people with serious illnesses are often living in poorly conditions for longer. Ensuring dignity, compassion and respect in these circumstances is a priority in the care we provide.
Our ethos at SweetTree is to provide the highest quality care and support possible, to mirror that of the highly respected hospice movement. This service has been designed to complement other palliative care teams and hospices often involved in the person’s end-of-life care.
•Support from 2 to 24 hour care, enabling freedom of choice and flexibility
•The Sweet Tree team work in partnership with community palliative care teams, other specialists from the multidisciplinary team as well as family and friends

4. Handyman / Driver
Handyman Service
Knowing that it is often the small things that make the biggest difference, SweetTree has an in house team lead by Phil Bones that can assist clients with tasks around the home. From gardening to maintenance we can ensure that those DIY jobs are done quickly and professionally by someone you can both rely on and feel safe having in your home.
Driving Service
For a number of our clients getting out doing the shopping and attending appointments can be a task in itself. Where this is the case, Phil is happy to help with the driving and where necessary he can come along with a care team member for extra support.
All input provided by Phil is charged at an hourly rate plus mileage incurred.
5. Specialist Service
At SweetTree we believe that with the right support package in place there is no better place to be than at home. We see our role as assisting clients and their families to help make the decision to stay at home a little easier.
